The Greater Sudbury Airport is located in the town of Garson. The distance from the Greater Sudbury Airport to downtown is 25 km and driving time is approximately 30 minutes. We had no influence in locating the Sudbury Airport at it's present location, and there is no planning in relocating the airport closer! The Sudbury airport is located there as it was initially a military defence base for NORAD.
There is no bus service to or from the Sudbury Airport. Your choices for transportation are the Airport Shuttle, Taxi or car rental.
